Elijah was actually starting to nod off. Since he didn't really have to wake up right then and there, he was starting to get a little sleepy again.

Bunsen and Rodger suddenly walked in the room. The medic walked over to the two boys, looking happy if not relieved.

"Hey! Good news. We get to do the check up today!" He said.

Elijah snapped awake, realizing that he fell asleep. Hearing that they were just going to have a check up was some good news. He didn't want to be interrogated again until Clockwork got better to some degree.

Elijah would've argued but Clockwork's eyes were out of focus. He gave one last look at Clockwork before turning away toward the lab. If he was going to be locked up, he wanted to do it himself. As one of the guards neared him, Elijah punched him hard in the chest, causing him to fall over and Bunsen to back up. This kid would be deadly if they didn't reel him in.

Labcoat smiled even though his guard was punched. Clockwork suddenly groaned and collapsed in Labcoat's arms. He began coughing again. The scientist picked the teen up with one arm while holding the knife in the other.

Elijah laughed a little under his breath as he was being led out of the room. He didn't care if he got shocked. Knowing that the idiot was afraid of him was priceless enough.

Shortly after that little 'who's scarier' moment, they reached a lab. Once inside, the teens could see two chairs with TV screens beside them. Elijah rolled his eyes and moved toward a chair, wondering what kind of questions he was going to answer.

Clockwork smirked before he was roughly shoved towards his chair by Labcoat. The teen scowled at him and just continued to the seat.

Elijah dropped Clockwork as he pushed away from him. Seeing how the other was being tortured, Elijah knew it was from a terrible past experience. Without a word or a sign of remorse, he grabbed the time ghost's collar again. This time, he threw him out of the room through the open door, showing no mercy in his swing. He intended for Clockwork to get hurt when he slammed against the wall, as a lesson for disobeying him.

Elijah woke with a start, thinking he heard something. He sat up and looked around the room. He hadn't been dreaming but there was just this impulse he needed to wake up. It was strange...

Meanwhile Clockwork was still asleep, facing the wall. He looked exhausted. The teen stirred. Elijah didn't bother with Clockwork just yet. He just moved up off the bed and stretched, wondering if he should try and sleep some more or stay awake.

Clockwork's mind was beyond foggy. He felt awful. Tired. Weak. Sick. A sudden pain suddenly shot through his whole body. Oh god it hurt. He groaned and attempted to move his good hand down to his bullet wound and put some pressure on it-... But his hand wouldn't move. He tried the other one that had been stabbed. That one wouldn't move either. It was then he began to get some feeling in his limbs. The teen slowly opened his blood red eyes a little. Everything was blurry.

The medical wing was dark. Only the faint silver glow of the two ghosts lit the room. The time ghost was fast asleep, however, he began twitching. His expression began changing to a fearful one. Bloody images flickered across his sight. Scientists. They were surrounding him. He twitched, trying to escape them. They were coming closer, carrying scalpels and knives.

Elijah nodded off earlier and was sleeping rather peacefully on a nearby cot. He didn't bother getting under the blankets. He was warm enough anyways. Unknown to him, the time ghost was having a terrible nightmare.

Here we go! Chapter 3... Yes, I did give Clock-boy an inhaler. And he is NOT impressed. :XD: And OMG! Elijah just went 'Incredible Hulk' on Clockwork! D8

This was really good. With action, teensy bit of healing, witty banter. I cracked up at the scene with the pillow!
